Carol-Ann Allen brings over 15 years of professional training, knowledge and experience to every client session.

Equally valuable, Carol-Ann brings the flexibility of an open mind, a sensitive ear, and an infectious sense of humor and playfulness to her work. Therapeutic healing need not be painful. She works actively and collaboratively, offering a new perspective and respectful and responsive support. Her work has often been described as “transformative”. As one client put it, Carol-Ann offers “practical, usable hope”.

Carol-Ann specialises in working with individuals and couples who want to move beyond the painful thoughts, feelings and behaviours that have limited their capacity to find joy or meaning in life, people who dream of developing their full potential, or creating healthy and lasting connections with others.

Personal statement:

“For over fifteen years, I have been privileged to work with a great many individuals, couples and families during challenging periods of emotional distress and uncertainty in their lives. I have witnessed so many moments of courage as clients have struggled through painful experiences of depression, anxiety, grief, illness or relationship stress. Their courage has fueled my own determination to help create better pathways of hope and possibility during challenging times. And – if change can happen with laughter along the way, so much the better.”
